Emergency Care for Your Urgent Dental Needs
Are you experiencing a dental emergency? Call our Huntersville office immediately. Dr. O’Leary is committed to meeting the urgent dental needs of his patients as quickly as possible.
Some of the most common dental emergencies include:
Knocked Out Tooth
If you’ve just lost a tooth, gently rinse it with water to remove any debris and place it back in its socket if you can. If you can’t, store it in a container of milk until Dr. O’Leary can see you. We will reattach your tooth if possible.
Knocked Out Temporary Crown
If you lose a temporary crown, dry your tooth and temporarily reattach the crown with a small amount of toothpaste or denture adhesive until we can see you.
Severe Toothache
If you’re experiencing a severe toothache, try rinsing or flossing around the tooth before you call us to see if there is debris that might be causing your discomfort. If your pain persists for more than a day or two, let us know.
If you’re struggling with a different emergency and aren’t sure if you should visit our office or your local emergency room, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Certain emergencies are better suited for the ER, and we can advise you on whether or not to see medical attention.
